From my work as a Life Coach, I see others maintain their yard, their home, their workspaces with more vigor than they do of THEMSELVES. It’s a joy to sit down with another human being over a cup of tea and talk about her/his goals and dreams. I’ve been doing this all my life as habit, but recently I took this on as a career.

While most careers come with a salary, I am an unpaid Life Coach for SYV (Share Your Voice) members. As they grow more confident and achieve individual success, they serve as role models for other young refugee adults.

Below, right, is Lateef, which means “kindness” in Arabic. He’s our mascot. Yes, we have a mascot and more—a vision, a mission statement, and purpose.
